Sadly, the news has been announced that Terence Cuneo's surviving daughter Carole, passed away in October. She was 84.
The news was given by Andrew Cuneo, her nephew, on The Cuneo Society Facebook page. He wrote:
'It is with great sadness that i have to announce the passing of Carole Cuneo. Carol had been unwell for several weeks and she died peacefully in Salisbury hospital.
There was a small humanist service and Carole was cremated at Salisbury crematorium on the 21st of November. She was Terence Cuneo's remaining daughter, a mother, Grandmother and aunt and will be sadly missed. Carole did a fantastic job in helping setting up The Cuneo Society. Where possible she was a very active member and attended as many events as she could. She spent time getting to know and enjoying the company of society members, making many friends along the way.
We, the family will carry on the great work started by Carole, by continuing the archiving and promotion of the work of Terence and Cyrus Cuneo.'
Carol will be dearly missed, and as Andrew says, was a guiding light for the Cuneo Society, and now the Facebook group. Carole will be missed, but never forgotten.
Her memory was brilliant. Always full of stories ranging from the garden (life size) toys her father made for her and her sister, to probably her proudest moment, meeting HM The Queen when a new room was opened with one of her father's pictures in pride of place, at the Science Museum.
